Woof Tee asks you for something most shops never do: photos of the animal you love most. We take that seriously. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit wooftee.shop or place an order, why we need it, who we share it with, how long we keep it — including the photos of your pets — and the choices and rights you have. Woof Tee is located at 2 Terrace Circle Apt 1E, Great Neck, NY 11021, US. Questions about privacy go to support@wooftee.shop.
Privacy at a glance
- We collect only what we need to take your order, print your item, deliver it and help you afterwards.
- Pet photos you send us are used only to print your order and are deleted 30 days after delivery.
- We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your pet photos in our marketing without asking you first.
- Card and account details for payments are handled by the payment provider, not stored by us.
- You can ask to see, correct or delete your information at any time by emailing us.
1. Information we collect
1.1 Information you give us when you order
- Contact details: your name, email address and, if you enter one, a phone number at checkout.
- Delivery details: the shipping address, and the billing address if it is different. If you are sending a gift, this includes the recipient’s name and address.
- Order details: what you bought, the size, colour and style you chose, the price and the date.
- Order notes: the personalisation you write at checkout — your pet’s name, any short text, dates, and links to photos. Please do not put anything in the order notes that we do not need for printing, such as passwords or payment details.
- Pet photos: photos you link in the order notes or send to us by email so we can print your item. Photos sometimes include people, homes or other details in the background; we only use the part we need for printing.
1.2 Information you give us when you contact us
When you email support@wooftee.shop or use our Submit a Ticket page, we receive your email address, your message and anything you attach, such as photos of an item or a shipping label.
1.3 Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our server records basic technical information when you visit: your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you request and the time of the request. The store also uses cookies to keep your cart working (see section 4). We do not currently use third-party advertising or analytics tracking tools on wooftee.shop. If that changes, we will update this policy before we start.
1.4 Information from other parties
When a payment method is available at checkout, the payment provider tells us whether a payment succeeded and may share limited information, such as the payer’s name, email and address, to confirm the order. If a parcel is tracked, the carrier may share delivery status updates with us.
2. How we use your information
- To make and deliver your order: printing your pet’s name and photo, packing, shipping to your address and sending order and shipping emails.
- To help you: answering questions, handling changes within the 24-hour window, returns, refunds and store credit.
- To keep the store safe: preventing fraud and abuse, and protecting the site and our customers.
- To meet legal obligations: keeping business and accounting records as the law requires.
- To improve the store: understanding which pages are useful and fixing what is confusing, using aggregated server information rather than profiles of individuals.
- Marketing emails: only if you have agreed to receive them. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. We do not currently send a newsletter.
3. Pet photos: our specific promises
Your pet photos get their own section, because they are the most personal thing you send us.
- Purpose: we use your photos only to print the items you ordered and, if there is a problem, to check what went wrong.
- Retention: customer photos are deleted 30 days after delivery of the order. That gives us time to deal with any return or exchange question, and then they are gone. If you need a reprint after that, you would send the photo again.
- No marketing use without permission: we will never post your pet, your home or you on our website or anywhere else without asking you first and getting a clear yes.
- Early deletion: if you would like your photos deleted sooner, email us after your order has been delivered and we will do it.
- Other people in the picture: if a photo shows people, only send it if they are happy for you to share it with us. We only use the pet.
4. Cookies
Cookies are small files your browser stores for a website. wooftee.shop uses cookies that are needed for the store to work: remembering the items in your cart, keeping you signed in if you create an account, and protecting forms against misuse. These are set by WooCommerce and WordPress, the software the store runs on. Without them, the cart and checkout cannot function.
We do not currently use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings at any time; if you block essential cookies, the cart and checkout may not work.
5. How we share information
We share personal information only with the services we need to run the store, and only what they need:
- Printing and fulfilment: the details needed to print and pack your item, including your pet’s name, the photo and the shipping address.
- Shipping carriers: the recipient’s name and address, and sometimes an email or phone number for delivery notifications.
- Payment providers: the information needed to process a payment or refund, when a payment method is in use at checkout.
- Website hosting and email: the providers that host wooftee.shop and deliver our emails, which store data on our behalf.
- Legal reasons: when the law requires it, or to protect our customers, our store or others from fraud or harm.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with other businesses for their own marketing.
6. How long we keep information

7. How we protect information
wooftee.shop is served only over encrypted HTTPS connections. Access to order information is limited to the people who need it to fulfil and support orders. We do not ask for or store full card numbers on our site. No system is perfectly secure, but if we ever learn of a breach that affects your information, we will tell you and the relevant authorities as the law requires.
Please help us: never send payment card numbers, passwords or bank details by email or in the order notes. We will never ask you for them.
8. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live — for example in New York or elsewhere in the United States, in Canada, in Australia or in New Zealand — you may have the right to:
- ask what personal information we hold about you and get a copy;
- ask us to correct information that is wrong;
- ask us to delete your information, including your pet photos, unless we must keep certain records by law;
- withdraw consent to marketing at any time;
- complain to your local privacy regulator.
To make a request, email support@wooftee.shop from the address you used with us. We reply within 24 hours on business days to acknowledge your request and may ask you to confirm your identity before we act on it. We will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.
9. Children’s privacy
Our store is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and children should not place orders or send us photos. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email us and we will delete it.
10. Visitors from outside the United States
Woof Tee is based in the United States and ships from the USA. If you order from Canada, Australia or New Zealand, your information is processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country. We apply the protections described in this policy wherever your information is processed.
11. Links to other websites
If you follow a link from our site to another website, such as a carrier’s tracking page, that website’s own privacy policy applies. We are not responsible for how other websites handle your information.
12. Privacy questions we are often asked
Will you post my dog on your website?
Not without asking. Our product photos and examples are separate from customer orders. If we ever want to feature a customer’s pet, we will email you first, explain where it would appear, and only use it if you say yes. You can change your mind later and we will take it down.
I sent a photo by link. Do you keep the link?
The link stays in your order notes as part of the order record, but the photo file we downloaded to print your item is deleted 30 days after delivery. If you would like the link removed from the order notes too, email us after delivery and we will remove it.
I ordered a gift. What happens to the recipient’s details?
We use the recipient’s name and address only to deliver the parcel and handle any delivery or return question. We do not email the recipient marketing and we do not add them to any list.
13. Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information — for example, if we start using an analytics tool or connect a new payment provider — we will update this page and the “Last updated” date at the top before the change takes effect. Significant changes will also be highlighted on the site.
