About Us
Woof Tee makes shirts, sweatshirts and hoodies printed with your dog’s face and name — and, because we are fair-minded, your cat’s too. If you have ever shown a stranger forty photos of your dog in a row, used your cat as your phone background or signed a birthday card from “the humans and Biscuit”, you are exactly who we make things for. This page explains what we sell, how personalising works, what we promise and what makes us different from the many other places selling pet-themed clothes.
What Woof Tee is
Woof Tee is an online store at wooftee.shop selling personalised pet apparel and pet lover gifts. Our address is 2 Terrace Circle Apt 1E, Great Neck, NY 11021, US, and we ship free from the USA to customers in the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. We look after customers by email at support@wooftee.shop and reply within 24 hours on business days.
The name says it all: “Woof” for the dog who greets you at the door like you have been gone for a year, “Tee” for the shirt that carries their face around for the rest of the day. Dogs come first in our catalogue, but there is a dedicated Cat Corner for the people whose pets meow, ignore them and are loved anyway.
What we sell
Our range is deliberately focused. We do not sell pet beds, collars or toys; we sell things you wear and things you use every day, each carrying a portrait of your pet and, usually, their name.
- Dog Shirts — classic tees, heavier comfort-fit tees and long sleeves with your dog’s face and name.
- Dog Sweatshirts & Hoodies — crewnecks and pullover hoodies for cold walks and couch evenings.
- Dog Mom & Dad — designs that add the title you earned at three in the morning during house-training.
- The Cat Corner — cat shirts, sweatshirts and hoodies, with designs that respect the fact that the cat is in charge.
- Pet Lover Gifts — mugs and other everyday gifts for people who want their pet on the desk or in the kitchen.
Sizes run from S to 5XL on most apparel, in a handful of garment colours chosen so that most coats — black, white, golden, brindle, tabby, ginger — stand out. Each product page lists the exact options available for that design.
How personalising works (no app, no account)
We keep personalising simple, and we are upfront about how it works:
- Choose a design, the style, the colour and the size, and add it to your cart.
- At checkout, write your pet’s name — and any short text or date the design allows — in the order notes box.
- Paste a link to your pet’s photo in the same box, or write that you will reply to your order confirmation email with the photo attached.
- We print exactly what you write. We do not send a proof or mockup before production, so please check spelling before you pay.
We chose order notes over a complicated upload tool on purpose. It works on any phone, any browser and any internet connection, it keeps everything about your order in one place, and it means a real person reads every note before anything is printed. If something in your notes is unclear — a two-pet design with one name, say — we email you to ask rather than guess.
What makes a good Woof Tee photo
A printed portrait can only be as good as the photo it starts from. The best photos are taken in daylight, at your pet’s eye level, with both eyes open and both ears in the frame. Send the original file rather than a screenshot. Dark-coated dogs and black cats print best from photos taken outside or beside a bright window. If you have two pets for a two-pet design, choose photos with a similar angle so the pair sits together nicely. More tips are in our FAQs.

We would rather make a few clear promises and keep them than make big claims we cannot back up. These are the commitments that apply to every Woof Tee order:

- 60-day returns on every item, personalised ones included, with a free return label even if you simply changed your mind. See Returns & Exchanges.
- Refunds issued within 7 days of your return reaching us, or store credit that never expires. See our Refund Policy.
- A reply within 24 hours on business days, by email, from someone who reads your whole message.
- Your photos are deleted 30 days after delivery and never used in our marketing without your permission. See our Privacy Policy.
What we do not do
Being clear about what we do not do matters as much as what we do:
- We do not invent reviews, ratings, counters or fake low-stock warnings. If a product page shows a review, it was written by a verified buyer.
- We do not make claims about where our garments are produced. What we can say, simply and truthfully, is that orders ship from the USA.
- We do not print cartoon characters, team logos, brand marks or other artists’ work. Your pet is the star; that is the whole point.
- We do not use pressure tactics, countdown timers or fake sales.
- We do not offer phone or chat support. Email support means everything is written down, nothing is lost between shifts, and you never wait on hold.
How we think about design
Our designs start from a simple rule: the pet’s face should be the first thing you notice from across a room, and the name the second. That means generous space around the portrait, a clean typeface for names, and wording that sounds like something a real dog person would say. We avoid cluttered layouts that bury the pet under slogans. Colours are chosen to flatter as many coats as possible, and garment colours are limited to the ones that make portraits pop.
We also think about the person wearing it. A Dog Mom crewneck should look good at brunch, not just at the dog park. A memorial tee should feel gentle, not gimmicky. A cat design should have at least a little attitude.
Care for your Woof Tee
To keep the print bright, turn the garment inside out, wash it cold with similar colours, and tumble dry low or hang to dry. Avoid ironing directly over the print. Exact care notes for each item are on its product page. Mugs have their own care notes on their product pages too.

Gift ideas by occasion
Birthdays
A tee or crewneck with the recipient’s own dog on it is the gift that says “I listened every time you talked about your dog”. Ask a mutual friend for a recent photo if you cannot get one without spoiling the surprise.
Gotcha days and adoption anniversaries
Add the date the pet came home. A long sleeve with “Home since” and a year makes a lovely first-anniversary gift for a rescue.
Mother’s Day and Father’s Day
For households where the kids have fur, a Dog Mom or Dog Dad design does the job beautifully. Order early enough to allow the full 1–3 business days of processing plus 7–14 business days in transit.
The holidays
Hoodies and sweatshirts are our most-gifted items at the end of the year. Count back 17 business days from when you need the parcel and add a little extra for carrier volumes in December.
In memory of a pet
Memorial tees are quiet and simple: a favourite photo, the name, and sometimes the years. Take your time choosing the photo; if you are unsure which one will print best, email us a few and we will tell you honestly which looks clearest.
A few orders we love
To give you an idea of what people make with us: a family ordering five matching tees, each with the same senior Lab, for a reunion photo; a sister in Toronto receiving a crewneck with her cat Mochi on it, ordered by a brother in California; a dad in Auckland unwrapping a hoodie with his Border Collie on Father’s Day; a new rescue owner wearing “Home since” on a long sleeve to the dog’s first vet visit. Why a dog-first store has a Cat Corner
We named the store after a bark, and most of our designs start with dogs, because most of our customers are dog people. But plenty of dog homes also have a cat, and plenty of cat people asked why they had to make do with a dog shop’s leftovers. The Cat Corner is our answer: designs built around cats from the start, with wording that suits them — a little aloof, a little smug, entirely in charge. Two-pet designs work across both, so a household with a beagle and a tabby can finally have both on one shirt.
